G.M.A. MARITIME S.A. was established in 1994 by Mr. Athanasios Emmanouilides, Mr George kouvoutsakis and Mr Emmanouil Fousteris, with its headquarters in the heart of the cradle of the Greek shipping community, the port of Piraeus

It is worth to mention that the venture of the three partners started back in the 1980 by establishing a ship-repair workshop, named G.M.TH. Express Repair Services, which is still in the front line of ship repairs in Piraeus and worldwide by providing the highest quality of repairs and spare parts.

The shipping company faced successfully the many challenges during its first years due to the competitive nature of the shipping market.

The primary objective in the management’s mind at the time was growth. Despite the company being fresh in the field, its management made strategic moves to fulfill its growth objectives.

Today, G.M.A. MARITIME S.A. very successfully continues its first class services to its clients by providing high standard vessels and the support of highly skilled and educated personnel both ashore and onboard. It holds a large quota of the market in the Caribbean Sea, with the potential to expand to even more challenging markets.
